Kreme & Krumbs is searching for part-time seasonal production teammates and kreme scoopers!
Our production team creates all of our delicious ice creams completely from scratch! This task includes preparing ingredients for ice cream production, churning ice cream in small batches, packaging, labeling, and maintaining inventory of ingredients and supplies. Key traits are passion for food, strong work ethic, integrity, strong communication skills, ability to perform daily duties in a team setting in compliance with food safety and quality safety, maintaining cleanliness of our production kitchen and respect for other teammate’s time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow recipes to produce between 32 and 64 + pints of fresh ice cream and ice cream sandwiches each day
- Properly label, date, pack, and store pints of ice cream and ice cream sandwiches
- Prepare ingredients and produce our handcrafted bases and inclusions, such as, fudge, curds, jams, cookies, cakes, brownies, etc.
- Accurately inventory ingredients and supplies to inform the daily production plan
- Participate in monthly inventory as needed
- Communicate clearly, effectively, and respectfully with all members of our team
- Thoughtfully complete daily cleaning tasks to ensure all areas of kitchen are clean and organized
- Clean as you go, with attention to detail, while staying organized throughout your shift
- Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion for food, cooking, teamwork, and quality
- Previous professional kitchen or production experience desired; culinary school is a plus
- Ability to measure ingredients accurately and perform basic kitchen math
- Ability to follow recipes and production standard operating procedures correctly and precisely.
- Ability to work independently while also being a dedicated and collaborative team player
- Dedication to cleanliness and organization
- Great communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions with precision as well as give great attention to detail
- Be 18 years old or older
- Be available 20+ hours a week
- Arrives 5 minutes before shift begins. To be ready for the morning shift huddle to prepare for the day’s production goals. Production Team’s shifts are 7am- 3pm, Mon - Fri.
- Ability to stand eight hours, lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, and take required breaks on time
- No planned absences longer than 7 days in a row, June 1st through August 31st
COMPENSATION
- Starting $16 hourly.

Our kreme scoopers work in an environment oriented around serving customers and bringing people joy with each scoop.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to operate POS system
- Able to push/pull 50 lbs. of weight
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability
- Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Maintain store cleanliness and follow all proper sanitation guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exhibit passion for community, an eye for detail, a willingness to clean (a lot), stamina (to serve people in long lines), and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be familiar with (and be able to articulate to customers) what differ Kreme & Krumbs artisan ice creams from other ice creams, and be able to articulate that to the 500th customer with the same care and presence as the 1st customer
- Be available to work weekends, late nights (past 11 PM)
- Provide consistent, world-class service to every single customer
- Be reliable, on time, and ready to hustle
COMPENSATION
- $16 to $18 hourly.
- Year-to-date, our Kreme Scoopers have made over $16 per hour on average. This includes base pay and tips.
